Roof inspections done right
There’s a wrong way to do a roof inspection, and then there’s the Baltic Way. Baltic Roofing’s newest happy customer, Laura, is now aware of the difference.
Laura’s 81-year-old father lives in a ranch-style home in Oak Forest. With the roof nearing 30 years old, Laura arranged for several contractors to come out and inspect.
Laura faced disappointment and frustration early on, saying, “Half of them didn’t even get on the roof. They just walked around and did a fly-by-night. They weren’t even there for like 15 minutes, and I was like, really?”

Fortunately, Laura’s outlook changed when the owner of Baltic Roofing arrived at their doorstep.
“He was the only one that went up into the attic and looked at the underside. He was the only one that spent a good amount of time on the roof,” Laura said. “Then he took time with us inside the house, helping us understand, just taking the time to go over everything.”
“As soon as he walked out the door, Dad goes, ‘Yeah, we’re going with them,’” Laura said with a smile.

“I will be the first to admit I had four different contractors come to my house and give me estimates none of them performed the consultation as awesome as Baltic Roofing. Darius went up into attic the garage to take a look at the underside of the roof he also got up on the roof and walked around a bit he also advised us that our decking was not up to code since our original roof was 30+ years old. After he did his walk around he came inside and sat down with my father and I and discussed what was going to be needed which would be a complete roof with new plywood/decking. We really only waited about 45 days from the initial consultation to installation date. They checked up on us regularly. Day of installation and they arrived at 7:00 a.m. sharp and proceed to set up and get to work on the roof. I do like the fact that they laid down tarps all over the property to catch falling debris from the roof as well as they had a big dumpster in the driveway for the debris."
